EUGENIO MARIA FAGIANI ha compiuto sotto la guida del M° Enzo Corti il Diploma di Organo e C.O. presso il Conservatorio "Luca Marenzio" di Brescia. Ha conseguito inoltre la Laurea in Musicologia nella SPFM a Cremona, Università di Pavia con la tesi "Marcel Duprè e l’arte dell’improvvisazione". Ha preso parte a diversi corsi di perfezionamento di interpretazione con Nigel Allcoat, Ewald Kooiman, Piet Kee, Daniel Roth, Gillian Weir and Naji Hakim. Ha approfondito lo studio dell’improvvisazione con: Nigel Allcoat, Jurgen Essl, Peter Planyavsky e Naji Hakim. E quello di Analisi Musicale con Marcel Bitsch.

Si esibisce regolarmente in Europa, Stati Uniti e Canada su alcuni tra gli strumenti più prestigiosi (tra i quali: Temple Church, Southwark Cathedral e St. Paul's Cathedral in London; Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis Kirche in Berlin; Basilica of the National Shrine of Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C.; St. Thomas (Episcopal) Church, St. Patrick's Cathedral e St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York City; Hill Auditorium, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; St. Clement’s Church, Rathgeb Memorial Organ at Deer Park United Church e St. James Anglican Cathedral in Toronto; Domkirche, Eisenstadt; Brucknerorgel della Skt. Florian Stiftsbasilika in Skt. Florian, Linz; Santuario della Verna; Basilica di S. Vitale in Ravenna; Duomo di Messina).

È docente per i Corsi di Improvvisazione annuali organizzati dal Festival Organistico Internazionale “Città di Bergamo”.

Già Direttore di Coro ed Organista Titolare, dell’organo storico “Locatelli” 1899, della Prepositurale S. Michele Arcangelo in Mapello, Bergamo, è Organista Aggiunto presso il Santuario Francescano della Verna, Arezzo.

Come compositore i suoi lavori comprendono lavori per vari gruppi da camera, per organo e per orchestra. Questi sono editi da Carrara, Turris e Delatour France e sono entrati nel repertorio di prestigiosi artisti come Stephen Tharp, Carol Williams, Robert Kovacs, Johannes Geffert, e Massimo Nosetti. È anche autore di una fortunata serie di trascrizioni organistiche.

EUGENIO MARIA FAGIANI studied with M° Enzo Corti in Milan and got an Organ and a Composition Diploma at the "Luca Marenzio" Conservatorium in Brescia. He also graduated in Musicology at the SPFM in Cremona-Pavia University with a graduation thesis on "Marcel Duprè and the art of improvisation". He took part to several specialization courses in interpretation with Nigel Allcoat, Ewald Kooiman, Piet Kee, Daniel Roth, Gillian Weir and Naji Hakim. Later on he specialized in the art of improvisation with: Nigel Allcoat, Jurgen Essl, Peter Planyavsky e Naji Hakim. He also went thoroughly into the study of Music Analysis with Marcel Bitsch.

He regularly performs in Europe, the United States and Canada on some of the most important instruments (including: the Temple Church, Southwark Cathedral and St. Paul's Cathedral in London; Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis Kirche in Berlin; Basilica of the National Shrine of Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C.; St. Thomas (Episcopal) Church, St. Patrick's Cathedral and St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York City; Hill Auditorium, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; St. Clement’s Church, the Rathgeb Memorial Organ at Deer Park United Church and the St. James Anglican Cathedral in Toronto; the Domkirche, Eisenstadt; the Brucknerorgel of the Skt. Florian Stiftsbasilika in Skt. Florian, Linz; the Shrine of La Verna; S. Vitale’s Basilica in Ravenna; Duomo, Messina).

He is the lecturer of the annual Improvisation courses supported by the International Organ Festival “Città di Bergamo”. He is also invited to give lectures for several Institutes (EU, US and CAN).

He is Director of Music and Organist of the historic organ "Locatelli" (1899), in the Saint Michael the Archangel's Church in Mapello, Bergamo. In 2008 he was named Guest Organist of the Franciscan Shrine of La Verna, Arezzo.

As a composer his works comprehend pieces for organ, chamber groups and orchestra. Published by Carrara, Turris and Delatour France, they are in the repertoire of artists like Stephen Tharp, Carol Williams, Robert Kovacs, Johannes Geffert and Massimo Nosetti. He is also the author of a renown series of organ transcriptions.

He records with the German label Spektral Records.

Sous la direction du Maître Enzo Corti, Eugenio Maria Fagiani a obtenu le Diplôme d’Orgue et Composition Organistique au Conservatoire “Luca Marenzio” de Brescia. Il a également obtenu la Licence de Musicologie à l’SPFM de Cremona, Université de Pavia, avec sa thèse sur “Marcel Dupré et l’art de l’improvisation”.

Eugenio Maria Fagiani se produit régulièrement en Europe, aux Etats-Unis et au Canada sur des instruments parmi les plus prestigieux comme le sont ceux de: la Cathédrale de Southwark, la Cathédrale Saint Paul et la Temple Church à Londres; de l’Eglise Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtnis à Berlin; de la Basilique de l’Immaculée Conception à Washington D.C; de l’Eglise de Saint Thomas et de la Cathédrale Saint Patrick et Saint Bartholomé à New York; de l’Auditorium Hill de l’Université du Michigan à Ann Arbor; de la Eglise de Saint Clement, du Ratgheb Memorial Organ de l’Eglise Unie de Deer Park et de la Cathédrale anglicane Saint James à Toronto; de la Domkirche de Eisenstadt; de la Basilique Saint Florian à Linz; du Sanctuaire de Verna; de la Basilique Saint Vitale à Ravenne; du Duomo de Messina.

Il intervient comme professeur dans les cours d’improvisation annuels organisés dans le cadre du “Festival International de la ville de Bergamo”.
Chef de chœur et Organiste Titulaire de l’orgue historique “Locatelli”, 1899, de l’église Saint Michel Archange de Mapello, Bergamo, il est aussi Organiste Adjoint du Sanctuaire franciscain de La Verna à Arezzo.

En tant que compositeur, ses travaux comptent des œuvres pour diverses formations de chambre, pour orgue et pour orchestre. Elles sont éditées par Carrara, Turris et Delatour (France) et sont entrées dans le répertoire de prestigieux artistes comme Stephan Tharp, Carol Williams, Robert Kovacs, Johannes Geffert et Massimo Nosetti. Eugenio Maria Fagiani est aussi l’auteur d’une importante série de transcriptions pour orgue.

Il enregistre avec Spektral Records, Allemagne.
